Reef Damage

On 1/19/03 Vone Research Inc, continued monitoring the coral restoration project.
We surveyed the area where the dredge teeth were. There is still hard and soft coral in this area that needs attention. We were disappointed to find that there are still dredge teeth on the patch reef. We regret to report that the stabilization of a barrel sponge in this area has failed. We also dove the area near 14 and 18 . The hard and soft coral in this area have not been stabilized. Most of the attached coral is doing well . There are a few that show signs of stress and bleaching.
